Funeral services for the late senator Lindsey Graham will begin in the US Capitol on July 28, and will continue in his home state of South Carolina the next day, his sister and successor Sen. Darline Graham announces.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has said that he plans to attend.

The remains of Graham, a retired US Air Force colonel, will be carried into the US Capitol by members of the US military. A US Capitol Police memorial guard will then bear his body into the Rotunda, after which there will be a short ceremony in the Senate.

His coffin will then be taken to the National Cathedral for a 2 p.m. service to be attended by US President Donald Trump.

Graham’s remains will be flown to South Carolina on Tuesday evening.

On Wednesday morning, Graham’s coffin will be carried across the South Carolina State House, which will include a flyover by F-16s. He will then be brought to the First Baptist Church of Columbia for a funeral service.

Graham will be buried in a family service in Pickens County, South Carolina. He died on July 11.
