Laser Photonics Corporation LASE stock gained on Tuesday as investors revisited two recent developments involving fresh capital and the company’s defense technology.

The stock’s advance appears to reflect optimism around improved near-term liquidity and progress in a U.S. Air Force evaluation process.

On July 17, Laser Photonics announced agreements for the immediate exercise of April 2026 warrants covering 2,528,572 shares at $0.975 each.

The transaction, expected to generate about $2.5 million in gross proceeds, was scheduled to close on or about July 20.

Laser Photonics will use the proceeds for working capital and general corporate purposes, with H.C. Wainwright serving as placement agent.

New Warrants Add Dilution Risk

In exchange for the cash exercise, Laser Photonics will issue unregistered Series A-7 warrants covering up to 800,000 shares and Series A-8 warrants covering up to 4,257,144 shares.

Both series carry a $0.975 exercise price and become exercisable immediately upon issuance.

The Series A-7 warrants will expire five years after the resale registration statement becomes effective, while the Series A-8 warrants will expire after 24 months.

The financing provides Laser Photonics with additional operating capital. However, the new warrants cover more than 5 million shares, creating potential dilution if exercised.

Air Force Review Advances

The rally also follows a July 15 update involving Fonon Technologies, an affiliated company within the LASE Group of Companies.

Fonon advanced to Step 2 of the U.S. Air Force Shaw Air Force Base Battle Lab evaluation process for its Laser Shield Anti-Drone technology.

The company will present the system’s technical and business viability, deployment approach and commercialization potential during a formal pitch session by Sept. 14, 2026.

Why Is LASE Stock Rising?

Investors may view the expected $2.5 million cash infusion as a near-term liquidity boost that can support Laser Photonics’ working capital needs.

The Air Force review may also be strengthening interest in the company’s defense portfolio and the potential government-market opportunity for its anti-drone technology.

The rally suggests traders are currently placing greater weight on the fresh capital and defense-related progress than on the potential dilution from the new warrants.

LASE Price Action: Laser Photonics shares were up 3.57% at $1.23 at the time of publication on Tuesday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
