Lamine Yamal had someone special by his side while celebrating his latest World Cup win!
After the 19-year-old soccer star helped the Spain men’s national team to victory over France in their 2026 FIFA World Cup semifinal on Tuesday, July 14, his little brother could be seen heading right into his arms.
Post-match footage of the heartfelt moment, shared by SportsCenter, shows the athlete’s proud 3-year-old brother Keyne running through the stands of Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and running straight for his older sibling.
When Keyne reached Yamal with outstretched arms, the star player picked him up and held him tightly in a sweet embrace, the fan-captured footage shows. The sibling duo, locked into a hug, then headed up through the stands together as others congratulated Yamal on the World Cup win.
There was plenty for Yamal to celebrate on Tuesday after Spain shut out France, securing a 2-0 victory in the Texas match — and sending him and the rest of his teammates to the 2026 World Cup final for the first time since 2010. Mikel Oyarzabal and Pedro Porro scored Spain’s two goals.
The team will now face the winner of Argentina and England’s match on Wednesday, July 15.
One of Yamal’s two half-siblings along with sister Baraa, Keyne is the son of Yamal’s mother, Sheila Ebana. Ebana was previously in a relationship with Yamal’s dad, Mounir Nasraoui, but they split in 2007 when he was a young child; Ebana later remarried and welcomed Keyne in September 2022, per The Athletic.

Yamal’s relationship with his younger brother has taken center stage throughout Spain’s road to the championship final — but he’s been a staunch supporter and fixture in the stands ever since Yamal made his Barcelona debut in 2023.
After Yamal and his teammates won the 2024 UEFA European Championship, the toddler — who was watching with mom Ebana — stormed the field to celebrate with his older brother.
That October, as the star player received the prestigious Kopa Trophy at Paris’s Ballon d’Or with the support of his entire family, Keyne was spotted playing with a Champions League ball on the red carpet.
Yamal has also featured his brother heavily on his social media accounts, including sharing videos of the 3-year-old riding in a toy Mercedes-Benz and the sibling duo dancing together.
He has also said that the toddler means “everything” to him, and compared their relationship to that of a father and child.
“I’m moved when I see my little brother this happy, as well as seeing my mum and friends living the life they always dreamed of,” Yamal said of the toddler during a July 2026 press conference, according to The Athletic.
“My little brother means everything to me,” the player continued at the time. “I am in love with him; it feels like he is my son.”
