A year after the death of Ozzy Osbourne, daughter Kelly Osbourne posted an online tribute to him, confessing that even though he is gone, "I know you are still with me."
The TV host and singer, 41, Osbourne posted the emotional note on Instagram on Tuesday, July 21, marking the one-year anniversary of the late Black Sabbath frontman's death. Osbourne, 76, died on July 22, 2025, just weeks after reuniting with Black Sabbath for a final show in England.
"Today I sit here beside you in a way I never thought would be possible," she wrote. "I know you are still with me. I feel you in the quiet, in the wind, in every song that stops me in my tracks, (in) the small of your cologne and in every moment that love outweighs grief. You are all around me."

While the memories are cherished, they fall short of his presence, Osbourne continued. "The hardest part is that I can't touch you," she wrote. "I can't wrap my arms around you or feel the safety that only you could give me. I always thought life was hard, but life without you has been the hardest thing I have ever had to endure."
Her father, she wrote "taught me that love could exist in the simplest things" such as watching television together and goofy things such as him "asking for a kiss with a mouth still full of food."
"I have never loved anyone or anything as deeply as uniquely as I love you. And now I carry all of that love with nowhere to place it except within me, my son, and mumma," Osbourne wrote. "It aches every single day, but it is also the greatest privilege of my life. To have loved someone so completely."
She went on to say how she sees glimpses of Ozzy Osbourne in son, Sidney, who is 3. "Sometimes it stops me in my tracks because it feels as though you've found a way to remind me that love never truly leaves us," she wrote.
Since Ozzy Osbourne's death, many others have told her about how her father inspired them. "I don't think you ever truly knew the impact you had on this world," she wrote. "I certainly didn't until you were gone. … You carried something extraordinary inside you, a kind of magic that felt heaven-sent, and I will spend the rest of my life feeling grateful that I got to call you my daddy."
"You may no longer walk beside me, but you live in every choice I make, every lesson I pass on, every piece of courage I can find, and every beat of my heart," she wrote at the tribute's closing. "Until we find each other again."
