The Jordanian military says it shot down four drones launched from Iran that had targeted the kingdom.
The interception of the drones by the Royal Jordanian Air Force “resulted in no casualties or material damage,” a military source is cited by the official Petra news agency as saying.
Earlier, Jordan said Iran fired six missiles at the kingdom, four of which were intercepted.
Iran has targeted Jordan several times in recent days amid an escalation in the conflict with the United States.
