Jim Jarvis is quickly becoming one of the Atlanta Braves' biggest fan favorites, and Wednesday night only added to his growing reputation. The 25-year-old infielder came through in the biggest moment, ripping a go-ahead RBI double in the eighth inning to lift Atlanta to a thrilling 7-6 victory over the San Diego Padres at Truist Park.
The clutch hit carried extra significance for Jarvis, who grew up in the San Diego area before starring at the University of Alabama.
