I’ve been wearing the same long-lasting perfume for 15 years. Turns out 16- year- old me had some pretty good taste. I’ve been a loyal fan of Viktor and Rolf’s Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum since that fateful trip to the department store when I told my mom, “I need a grown-up fragrance.”

Now, a decade and a half later, I’m still committed to the scent. In fact, I’ve worked in fashion and beauty for eight years and have tested countless perfumes from luxury companies (not to brag) and nothing compares to Viktor and Rolf’s Flowerbomb. I wouldn’t even really consider myself a fan of floral fragrances, as I typically prefer rich vanilla perfumes. However, the centifolia rose note mixed with the sweet smell of freesia and crisp peony finish create an intoxicatingly warm profile that’s delectable.
That being said, it’s not overpowering—it’s even approved by my scent-aversive sister. In fact, it’s pretty much liked by everyone; I get countless compliments when I wear it. Smelling good is kind of my thing (if I do say so myself), and Flowerbomb is a huge reason for that.
Flowerbomb Travel Size
Flowerbomb has some serious lasting power, too. I’m not even talking hours. Days later, I’ll throw on a jacket and smell it on the sleeves. In terms of actually lasting on my skin, I’ve smelt my wrist 12 hours after the initial spritz, and it still smells like a fresh bouquet—even after a day of travel or a night at the bar.
Back in high school, I convinced the majority of my friends to use the eau de parfum. (I guess I was an influencer ahead of my time.) The more things change, the more they stay the same, because the group chat is still counting Flowerbomb as a go-to fragrance. Now, I’ll sell you, dear reader, on my favorite scent.
