Nelson Amador, the founder of Five Star Coffee Roasters, and Alejandra Gomez, the manager of Five Star Coffee Roasters, have a strong connection to the coffee industry. They both grew up on their grandfather Raul Rodriguez’s coffee farm, Finca Santa Lucia, which is located in the remote village of Tres Pinos, Honduras. This family-owned and managed farm has a rich history and is dedicated to producing the finest specialty coffee beans.
Coffee has been a part of our family for over five generations and we are proud to say that we have over 22 coffee producers in our family, all of whom share a passion for producing some of the finest organic specialty coffees.
Today we have four excellent, all dark roast whole bean coffees. For the coffee snob in us, these pass the test with flying colors. We found them all to be excellent no matter how they were prepared – straight black coffee, espresso, cold brew, latte, cappuccino and more – hot or iced.
