Glasgow is set to welcome over 3,000 athletes for the latest edition of the Commonwealth Games with 215 gold medals up for grabs.
The 2026 Commonwealth Games begin on Thursday, July 23 with the opening ceremony to take place at the OVO Hydro, an indoor arena in Glasgow.
Events gets underway, on Friday, July 24, and will run until the closing ceremony on Sunday, August 2 as 74 nations battle it out to finish top of the medal standings.
