Hatsune Miku has had her fair share of appearances across various media, and this includes video games. In recent years, she and the other Vocaloid mascots from Crypton Future Media have gotten their own software, and now, one of these titles is getting a big summer upgrade.
Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S+ debuted in 2025, and one year later, it's receiving new seasonal downloadable content. This switches things up by letting the characters experience summer like never before, complete with all-new puzzles and items. The update is for all versions of the game across different platforms, ensuring that there's an entire summer's worth of Miku content.
Hatsune Miku Opens a Door Into Summer 2026 With New Video Game DLC
Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S+ is bringing in the hotter days with new summer DLC -- the third such seasonal bonus content for the puzzle game to date. This extends to various new puzzles involving both Miku and her myriad fellow Vocaloid characters, including new costumes and items inspired by various coastal themes that can be unlocked.
Miku's own costume is designed by the illustrator Miyanami, and it gives her an ocean-worthy swimsuit. Suits for the other Piapro are also available, along with 24 items for their room. Different illustrations of these costumes (which can also be displayed in the room), courtesy of Miyanami, can be unlocked by playing the exclusive "Tropical Vacation" puzzles.
There's also additional DLC available for free in addition to the Tropical Vacation content, with fans simply needing to update the software at no charge. Released on July 9, the paid Tropical Vacation DLC costs 600 yen, or just under US$4. Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S+ is available on the Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Xbox One, Sony PlayStation 4 and 5, and PC via Steam. It's also available in numerous languages, letting fans of Hatsune Miku experience her in their native tongue.
Previous DLC for the game has also been seasonal, with the winter downloadable content prominently featuring Miku's frosty variant, Snow Miku.
