For our next special event screening, Collider is proud to announce that we’re teaming up with Netflix to offer our readers the chance to see their upcoming movie, The Last House. Not only will we be watching the movie early, but we’re thrilled to invite director Louis Leterrier(Now You See Me, Fast X) to join us on stage after the screening for a wide-ranging Q&A conversation. If you’re in the area or have the means to get there, join us on Tuesday, August 4th, in a private location near Midtown NYC. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., and the movie will begin at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Q&A with Leterrier, moderated by Collider’s own Steven Weintraub. All guests will receive free popcorn, water, and candy!

What Is Netflix’s ‘The Last House’ About?
The Last House is an upcoming thriller on Netflix that blends sci-fi and survival into an original story about a family’s waking nightmare. Written by Matthew Robinson, who penned Gore Verbinski’s latest certified fresh thriller, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, the movie follows a family of four who discover that they’re suddenly trapped inside their home with no way to escape. As their resources inside slowly but surely begin to dwindle, the family will have to come together to survive not only their scarce supplies, but the looming threat that’s keeping them inside.
The Last House stars Golden Globe Award winner Greta Lee (Past Lives) and Academy Award nominee Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent) as Jason and Ann. The movie also stars Gabriel Barbosa (May December), Emma Ho (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds), Noah Alexander Sosnowski (Section 8) and Riley Chung (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes).
