Katia Lindor shares three kids with the New York Mets shortstop
Katia Lindor is speaking out about her experiences with motherhood with the intent of helping others.
The Un-a-Parent podcast host and mom of three sat down for a candid conversation on PEOPLE's WAG World series about navigating life as a parent to young kids, whom she shares with husband Francisco Lindor of the New York Mets.
In August 2022, Katia, 32, launched a bilingual podcast as a way to speak openly on the unapparent and often overlooked realities of parenthood following the birth of her first child, daughter Kalina, in 2020. She and Lindor, also 32, welcomed their second daughter, Amapola Chloé, in June 2023 and son Koa Amani in March 2025.
"It started during my first postpartum phase. It was 2020 when I was pregnant with my oldest, Kalina. COVID, everyone remembers, but it was more experiencing postpartum depression and not having been surrounded by the conversations that I thought I would have benefited from," Katia tells WAG World host Skyler Caruso in the Thursday, July 16 episode released exclusively on the PEOPLE App.
"I just wanted to, at first, provide that kind of space for other moms who might be struggling with postpartum depression to kind of feel seen and validated," she continues.
With the podcast now in its seventh season, the show has evolved into an expressive outlet for Katia and a community for those who listen.
"It's hard, but it's also not unheard of," she says of postpartum depression. "Others are experiencing the same thing. [My podcast] became sort of that passion project that also gave me a purpose outside of motherhood, yet still directly tied to motherhood."
Katia is proud of the podcast and how it's grown over the years. The show now covers a variety of topics beyond motherhood.
"It's evolved," Katia shares. "It's basically social justice, political commentary, motherhood and everything that belongs in society through a guise of parenting. It's evolved pretty much along with me, how I've evolved since becoming a mom and now I have three kids."
"It's been so near and dear to my heart," she adds. "It's like my fourth child."
Katia intentionally produces her podcast in both English and Spanish to reach audiences across cultures and address a gap in mental health conversations within Latino communities.
"I have a big Hispanic following because I am Puerto Rican," she says. "I realized the gap in these conversations being had in the Latino culture. I was able to find a lot more of these conversations in English than I did in Spanish... I feel the need of having these conversations in our culture."

"I wanted to include my following and my listeners who maybe couldn't appreciate the English versions," she continues. "And I wanted to expand information to more audiences that could really benefit from it. That was my hope."
She concludes, "Having built this community where I've met incredible people, it's opened doors and opportunities that I would have never imagined when I started. The coolest part is meeting the guests and people who have approached me... and getting to do what I feel is meaningful work."
