Fortnite: Best Ways to Get Missing Sprites

As Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 nears its end, you might still be missing a few Sprites to complete your collection. Here's how you can get them all!

By the time Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 ends, there will be over 100 Sprites to collect. While this might sound overwhelming (and if you only have one or two, it just might be), there is a way to ensure that you're collecting the Sprites you're missing. Whether it's a common Sprite or one of the rarer ones like a Holofoil or Gummy, the methods below will help you to acquire any Sprites that you might still be missing from your collection!

Trade Sprites in Dedicated Discord Servers

One of the best ways to get Sprites is through community trading. This method is my preferred way, as not only can you interact with the community, but you can also ask if anyone is willing to trade rare Sprites that you've yet to add to your collection, or you can ask to "index" a Sprite, which means another player will give it to you to extract, but you give it back in the next game.

The best trades happen in the Sprite Trading HQ Discord (which you can join with the link provided). Join the server and check out the trade channels! If you don't have anything worth trading, there's always a friendly player that might be willing to help you out.

Keep Your Eye on Power Hours & Shiny Hours

We'll be posting the days and times of every Power Hour and Shiny Hour, and if you're late to the Sprite party, these are hours you won't want to miss. With Power Hours, all special Sprites will spawn more commonly, which means you will have a far easier time finding Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, Holofoil, and Cube Sprites by checking Sprite Chests.

There's only one major problem with Power Hours: other players will also be on the hunt for Sprites. Power Hours do not apply to bot lobbies, which means you'll have to compete with other players for Sprites, and they can easily try to eliminate you to take yours (or you can beat them to it).

Use Sprite Locators

One of the best ways to get missing Sprites without interacting with the community or relying on limited-time events is the Sprite Locator. This is a unique Gizmo that you can get as a daily reward for extracting 10+ Sprites, and it recently got a buff that makes it far more useful for finding Sprite variants instead of base versions of Sprites.

Simply equip the Sprite Locator from your Gizmo Wheel (Hold Triangle/Y) and use it with R2/RT. This will mark a location on your HUD that directs you to a buried chest you can dig up with your Pickaxe, and only you can see it. While you might get a Sprite you already have, the chances of getting a special variant, like a Holofoil, are far higher.

Follow the Best Sprite Chest Routes

Sprite Chests are always going to be your most effective way of acquiring Sprites, even if the chances of a different variant will be completely randomized (which is rather annoying when you see the rarest Sprites in Fortnite). Regardless, Sprite Chests will spawn at the beginning of a match, but their locations will change. As such, you can consult our Sprite Chest map, or you can click the guide below to view our best Sprite Chest loot route:

Vaults are also a great way to find Sprites, but since Vault Keys are acquired through random looting, it's best if you check out our dedicated Vault Keys Guide for more information.
