The NFL posted pictures of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes from 2019 to this offseason on Instagram on Tuesday. It drew a lot of reactions from fans, mostly saying that he looks the same through the years.
The cover image showed the Chiefs QB's snaps from seven years ago to present in the same pose. Only the team's headband, fewer baller bands, a thicker goatee and shorter hair are the noticeable differences.
The team drafted Mahomes at No. 10 overall in 2017, and he has remained with the franchise throughout his career. He has since won three Super Bowls, three Super Bowl MVPs and two NFL MVPs, cementing himself as an all-time great.
"He looks the exact same. Is he AI?" one user wrote.
"Looks exactly the same! Love you Patrick!" a comment read.
"He hasn't aged, he just gets more handsome 😍😍😍" one fan said.
"Does he age??? He looks the same," posted another.
"Never will age!!!!" another fan commented.
"Looks the same every year," a reaction read.
Mahomes continues to recover from the torn ACL he sustained in December. However, reports suggest that he could return as early as Week 1.
Kansas City missed the playoffs for the first time in the Mahomes QB1 era and has its sights set on bouncing back strong. The team re-signed Travis Kelce and acquired reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III this offseason to bolster the lineup. It also signed Justin Fields as insurance at the quarterback position and for additional depth.
