Cogshell talked about how he has gained weight and strength since arriving on campus last season, and how he had to reshape some things physically after the end of last year. He discussed his goal weight and how close he is to reaching it.
He also talked about being a late bloomer in high school, and what kind of work he had to put in for schools like UCLA to start noticing him. He touched on playing in six games last season and how much fun that was, even in the midst of that lost season.
Cogshell also talked about this spring, where he began the first couple of weeks at the JACK position before switching to a hand-down defensive end position. He said he’ll be playing the hand-down position this season.
