“Daily Show” correspondent Desi Lydic brutally pointed out a bizarre glitch during President Donald Trump’s election conspiracy speech last week.
As host on Tuesday’s show, Lydic highlighted a piece of Trump’s speech where the president seemed to get lost while talking about the SAVE America Act.
“This landmark bill requires that all voters must show photo voter ID. How simple is that?” Trump said. “Could I have your photo, please? Photo voter ID.”
Lydic didn’t hold back when mocking Trump’s less-than-enthusiastic tone.
“Even he sounds exhausted by his own election ********,” Lydic said. “Hey, hey, once you turn 80, it is harder to maintain an insurrection. It happens to a lot of guys.”
She then pointed out the apparent glitch, where Trump appeared to want to say “process” but instead said “pross,” which is not a word in the English language.
“He released a bunch of documents that were old news and didn’t prove jack ****. And at one point, he even started to glitch,” Lydic said.
“That’s what I’m always saying. You got to trust the pross-off,” she continued.
