NEED TO KNOW

  • Ella Langley had a slight blip during her performance opening Morgan Wallen’s concert in Maryland
  • The singer suffered from a wardrobe malfunction, which then led to an impromptu outfit change
  • Langley addressed the blunder on social media with a lighthearted attitude

And just like that, she’s back at the mic again.

This past weekend, Ella Langley performed an opening set for Morgan Wallen’s Still the Problem shows in Baltimore and found herself dealing with a wardrobe malfunction in a “stadium full of people.”

Fans captured footage of the country star, 27, having to slip into an oversize Baltimore Ravens jersey with her last name on it during her set at M&T Bank Stadium. It was a cute outfit change, but the “Choosin’ Texas” artist later revealed that it rescued her completely from her pink dress coming undone.

In an Instagram Stories post reshared by Taste of Country, Langley wrote, “Yesterday my entire dress came unzipped on song #2 in a 60-minute set in the pouring rain in a stadium full of people.”

But the show must go on, and it did, with Langley and Wallen taking the stage with a performance of their song, “I Can’t Love You Anymore.”

Langley may know what it’s like to have a style misstep on the job, but she certainly also knows what it takes to make a fun, fashionable look come together. After all, she became an American Eagle ambassador this winter after years of bringing her boho Western style to the red carpet.

In addition to joining Wallen as a supporting act, Langley is coming off of her spring release Dandelion, which houses “Be Her” and “Loving Life Again.” Speaking with PEOPLE at an event at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry in partnership with Chase Sapphire Reserve, she talked about leaning into the business of chart-topping fame and her quieter plans for the future.

“I think my whole life I’ve really dedicated it to this craft and doing this job,” she said. “And now that I’m up here and experiencing this, I’m also excited about settling down one day and pursuing the human version of my life.”
