Officials are also looking into a possible tornado in Cape May. That survey NWS teams plan to do virtually, “as damage was sporadic and the tornado likely dissipated not long after it came ashore.”

A full report is expected to be released by Wednesday night.

A flurry of tornado warnings popped up as the system moved through. The entire NYC metro area was under a tornado watch at one point. There were no immediate reports of storm-related injuries.
