The Miami Dolphins are wrapping up their break between organized team activities and training camp, as they welcomed their rookies back to their facility on Tuesday and will have veterans return next Tuesday, July 28.
With the first-year players back, the Dolphins have placed wide receiver Chris Bell on the non-football injury (NFI) list.
Bell played at Louisville from 2022-25, catching 151 passes for 2,166 yards and 12 touchdowns in 47 games with the Cardinals. The 22-year-old tore his ACL in a November game against SMU that ended his final collegiate season early.
Had Bell not been injured during the pre-draft process, he likely would've gone before Miami took him, which was in the third round (No. 94 overall).
It's unclear when Bell will be back on the field, as he continues to recover from the injury, but until then, the Dolphins will roll with Jalen Tolbert, Tutu Atwell, Malik Washington, Caleb Douglas, Kevin Coleman Jr., Therrace Marshall Jr., Theo Wease Jr., Tahj Washington, Jalen Reagor, AJ Hennin and Donaven McCulley at wide receiver.
