Dave Portnoy has issued a dire warning for his all-time great quarterback, Tom Brady.
The seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback, who won six with the Patriots and one with the Buccaneers, has been spending a ton of time with Fanatics founder Michael Rubin and appears to be setting himself up for a WWE appearance opposite Logan Paul.
But the Barstool founder who typically defends Brady is calling on the future Hall of Famer to stay far away from the Fanatics Fest founder.

“Can somebody please shake Tom Brady and tell him to get as far away from Michael Rubin as possible and stop lamifying his entire legacy,” Portnoy said in a post on X.
Brady had a UFC-style face-off with Paul at Fanatics Fest over the weekend, where Brady slapped Paul. Brady and Paul were then exchanging middle fingers with Rubin between them at Sunday’s World Cup final between Argentina and Spain at MetLife Stadium.
“He’s becoming very lame,” Portnoy surprisingly said of Brady on his TV show “Wake up Barstool.” “These superstars are so above the fray that you don’t want to see them mixed up in all sorts of low-brow TikTok, Flag Football leagues in Saudi Arabia. Everything about him seems cringey to me.”
Portnoy added that “Rubin is in the middle of all of it” while adding that “Michael Rubin will lamify the coolest guys in the world.”
Portnoy added that this all started when Brady made surprising comments about the Patriots ahead of the 2026 Super Bowl.
Brady’s said that “I don’t have a dog in the fight in this one,” ahead of the 2026 Super Bowl where the Patriots would get defeated by the Seahawks.
“It all started when he started hating on the Patriots,” Portnoy said. “I’d be in such a dark place if I had to defend this nonsense, this garbage. But thankfully it coincided with him saying ‘I don’t care about the Patriots.'”
