A community fundraising campaign led by Burnett Home Improvement and Tri-Star Glass Products raised $92,118 for the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma's Food for Kids program.
The funds will help provide nutritious meals to children facing food insecurity across eastern Oklahoma through the Food for Kids program, which serves children and families throughout the region.
The campaign brought together local businesses, community members and donors to support the effort and raise awareness of childhood hunger in eastern Oklahoma.
Organizers thanked everyone who contributed to the campaign, including those who donated and shared information about the fundraiser. They also recognized Burnett Home Improvement and Tri-Star Glass Products for helping lead the effort.
The Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma operates the Food for Kids program to help ensure children have access to food outside of school hours.
