Charley Hull has insisted that she is really looking forward to playing alongside Nelly Korda and Lottie Woad during the first two rounds at the Women’s Scottish Open.
There is no question over the marquee group on Thursday and Friday at Dundonald Links.
The world number one has been grouped with the defending champion and one of the most popular players in the game.

It is easy to forget that Lottie Woad was making her first start as a professional at last year’s event. The Brit had already won on the Ladies European Tour as an amateur earlier in the month.
Some may have wondered whether Woad would struggle in the spotlight alongside Nelly Korda and Charley Hull. However, she went on to win by three shots in Scotland.
Of course, it has been a brilliant season for Korda. She bounced back from not winning at all in 2025 by lifting the first two major titles of this year.
And speaking ahead of Thursday’s opening round, Hull suggested that she is excited to have the chance to tee it up with Korda and Woad again.
“Yeah I’m looking forward to that,” she said. “I really like Lottie. She’s such a nice girl and it’s nice that there’s another English golfer on the tour and she’s doing so well. It’s a pleasure to play with her.
“Practised with her in winter before camp. And Nelly, she’s great for the tour, great for sport, and yeah, she’s lovely.”

We are not far away from the final major of the year, with Royal Lytham & St Annes set to host the Women’s British Open next week.
But after that, the thoughts of many will turn to September’s Solheim Cup.
Woad is set to make her debut in the event in the Netherlands. And Hull claimed that she would be very happy if Anna Nordqvist put them together.
“Yeah, definitely. Even though she’s a rookie, she doesn’t play like a rookie. She has all the confidence in the world, even though it’s only her second year on tour,” she said.
Hull and Woad could be a phenomenal pairing on the Solheim Cup stage. They are both fearless regardless of who they are up against.
Woad looks to be made for the Solheim Cup arena, while Hull proved with her dismantling of Korda on Sunday in 2024 that she has the potential to blow anyone away.
Certainly, Nordqvist is likely to be very interested in seeing how Hull and Woad behave around each other over the next two days.
