The Celtics will be happy to see this.

Bleacher Report thinks the Celtics are home to the NBA's most underrated player.

The publication recently ranked the 10 most underrated players in the NBA right now. The list starts with Grizzlies guard Cam Spencer, includes Knicks champion Miles McBride and features Celtics center Neemias Queta in the No. 1 spot.

"When the Celtics took a hacksaw to their bloated budget last summer, they did so knowing that the bottom might fall out for its interior rotation," writes Bleacher Report's Zach Buckley. "Neemias Queta is the biggest (only?) reason why Boston's bigs were able to hold it together."

Queta was the No. 39 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Kings. He joined the Celtics after two seasons in Sacramento, and established himself as a full-time starter in 2025-26.

With averages of 10.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game, Queta finished fourth in Most Improved Player voting last season, trailing Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who also landed on Bleacher Report's list of underrated players, Jalen Duren and Deni Avdija.

After the Jaylen Brown trade, there will be even more pressure on Queta to not only replicate last season's success, but build on it.

"Queta is now a first-paragraph part of the story of the Celtics' success going forward," added Buckley. "This past season wasn't simply his first as a full-time starter; it was his first crack at being a rotation regular.

"His arrow is pointing all the way up; this will just hopefully point more people toward noticing that."
