Brittany Cartwright is hitting back at body-shamers.
In a post to social media on Monday, July 20, the Vanderpump Rules star, 37, debuted the results of her partnership with telehealth company Fridays, which specializes in a wide range of weight loss options, such as GLP-1s.
“I finally got my sparkle back! I’m already down two dress sizes, and summer is just getting started!” she captioned the Instagram video.
As the clip began, Cartwright showed off side-by-side photos of her progress before explaining what jumpstarted her journey.
“I saw all the body-shaming comments about me,” the Bravo star said in a voiceover that accompanied the upload. “But instead of pissing me off, they made me motivated.”
Her video showed the television personality, who shares son Cruz Michael Cauchi with her ex-husband Jax Taylor, going about her day-to-day life and dancing around.
“Everyone I knew was using GLP-1s,” she claimed.
GLP-1s are a type of medication that mimic a natural gut hormone to regulate blood sugar and curb appetite, thus ultimately making users eat less. Popular brands include Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound.
Cartwright admitted she was “worried,” and unsure whether or not the product would work for her.
“I kept with it,” she said. “I kept going.”
In the video, she documented herself working out with weights like dumbbells and a kettlebell, letting her followers know that around month three she “could tell that the weight was starting to fall off.”
“Month four, I feel amazing,” Cartwright said, later adding, “I’m finally starting to feel like myself again.”
Many in her comment section asked about her highly publicized mommy makeover, and how it may have played a role in her new physique.
“For anyone wondering, I’ve lost 20 lbs since my mommy makeover that happened in October. I started with Fridays long after my surgery, so the weight loss happened afterward. Mommy makeover boosted my confidence and loosing weight has made me feel amazing and so much more confident. They are 2 different things,” Cartwright wrote in her comment section.
The Valley star previously disclosed the procedure on her own podcast, When Reality Hits with Brittany Cartwright.

At the time, she opened up about going under the knife with Dr. John Layke and Dr. Payman Danielpour of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group for abdominal reconstruction, liposuction, a tummy tuck and a breast lift with smaller implants after struggling with diastasis recti and body changes following Cruz’s birth in April 2021.
“I did this for me. It was about my confidence,” Cartwright said.
“I was torn down in my last relationship ... and I had lost a lot of my confidence, so I really wanted to get my confidence back. I thought this was perfect timing. I think I deserved it and I really wanted to do it for myself. And I couldn’t be happier with my decision,” she added.
