Former Iowa State Cyclone and current Portland Fire Bridget Carleton will compete in Friday’s 3-point contest which is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. CDT.
The Chatham, Ontario, native is one of six players in the field, including Four-time All-Star Rhyne Howard (Atlanta), first-time All-Star Marina Mabrey (Toronto), the 2026 No. 1 overall draft pick Azzi Fudd (Dallas), Natisha Hiedeman (Seattle) and Janelle Salaün (Golden State).
Carleton, a 2019 graduate of Iowa State, is in her eighth season in the WNBA. Her averages this season include 13.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game.
Carleton is tied for fourth in the WNBA with 3-point baskets made (2.6). She is sixth in the league with 65 3-pointers made. The amount of triples are a franchise record, too, as Carleton passed the 60 triples made by Sophia Witherspoon (2000) against her former squad, the Minnesota Lynx.
