Bayern, PSG eyeing De Ketelaere (Get French Football News)
Belgium’s Charles De Ketelaere was one of the players at the World Cup, who helped raise his profile the most. Now, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly looking at the Atalanta attacker:
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keeping tabs on Atalanta’s Charles De Ketelaere (25), according to information from journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
Whilst the Belgian is not a top priority for the Parisian management, his tactical intelligence – which is highly regarded within the club – would make him a credible alternative to Maghnes Akliouche (24), whose transfer to Les Rouge et Bleu from AS Monaco has yet to materialise.
Valued at around €50m by the Bergamo-based club, the forward has also been linked with Bayern Munich, as well as several Premier League sides, as reported by the Corriere della Sera.
De Ketelaere, who was linked to Bayern Munich last winter, scored twice against the United States and was also the only player to score against Spain at the World Cup.
Despite long-term interest in De Ketelaere, it seems like a move for the Belgian would be doubtful for the Bavarians. With eight attackers already rosters for this season, the Bavarians are not in a position roster-wise or financially to make a luxury purchase — unless there is an unexpected sale on the horizon.

Manchester City and Phil Foden are sticking together:
Enzo Maresca is planning to use Phil Foden as a key part of his first-team plans at Manchester City, sources have told Football Insider.
The 26-year-old has faced questions about his long-term future at the Etihad following a disappointing season in which he struggled to nail down a place under Pep Guardiola.
That poor form ultimately led him to being left out of the England squad for the World Cup, while speculation has risen about a potential move away from Man City.
However, as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, Man City have no concerns about Foden’s future, and he is part of Maresca’s future plans.
How deep is that lack of concern? Well, City just inked Foden to a new deal:

Prior to that signing, ESPN was reporting that AS Roma had interest in Foden:
AC Milan are dreaming of signing Manchester City attacking midfielder Phil Foden but would have to offload Rafael Leão first, according to Tuttosport. City could be willing to let Foden leave for between €50 million and €60 million, which is the figure that the Rossoneri are expecting to make from Leão’s possible departure. There aren’t any negotiations that are openly underway yet, but there is a positive relationship between the clubs following Tijjani Reijnders’ move to the Etihad last summer.

And so now the Giallorossi will look elsewhere, at other prospects, even if that left flank seems doomed for the Giallorossi. Garnacho is in open negotiations with Aston Villa, and Mourinho seems to have vetoed Endrick. So the first name on D’Amico’s list is Antonio Nusa, the Norwegian from Leipzig, valued at at least €40 million. But at this point, the cost is no longer an issue; Roma has that money. They just need to figure out who they want to spend it on.
Another name they like, for example, is another Norwegian, Andreas Schjelderup from Benfica, even though he’s considered a step below the likes of Greenwood, Summerville, or Nusa. And then? There are the youngsters, with PSG’s Senegalese Ibrahim Mbaye and Cologne’s German Said El Mala. The former costs around €30 million, but PSG doesn’t want to sell him and would only loan him out if they did. The second, however, is valued at around €50 million. And Trigoria is thinking about those figures, considering we’re talking about a 19-year-old and not a player already established like Summerville would have been.
Villa, NUFC eyeing Mount (ESPN)
Aston Villa and Newcastle United are both reportedly taking a look at Manchester United’s Mason Mount:
Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount is attracting interest from Aston Villa and Newcastle, TEAMtalk reports. The Old Trafford hierarchy have reportedly received several inquiries regarding a deal for the 27-year-old, but manager Michael Carrick is keen to keep Mount at the club due to his versatility and positive impact on the dressing room. Sources told ESPN that United are closing in on a £35 million move for Villa’s Youri Tielemans, and it looks as though Mount could be a potential option to replace him.
Bayern Alumni: Demircan moves to SC Telstar (Get Belgian & Dutch Football News)
Former Bayern Munich academy player Emirhan Demircan is headed to SC Telstar on loan from FC Utrecht:
Telstar have added to their squad with former Bayern Munich youngster Emirhan Demircan joining on loan from FC Utrecht. Demircan joined Utrecht last summer after leaving Bayern Munich but now heads out to join Telstar for the 2026/2027 Eredivisie season. Telstar have been active this summer as they look to build on a remarkable 2025/2026 campaign in which they defied all the odds to avoid relegation from the Eredivisie.
