Apple TV August 2026 schedule announced

Apple TV has announced the programming coming to the streaming service next month. The Apple TV August 2026 lineup includes Dark Matter Season 2, The Dynasty: UConn Huskies, Stillwater Season 5, Ted Lasso Season 4, and Women in Blue (Las Azules) Season 2.

Apple TV is available on the Apple TV app in over 100 countries and regions, on over 1 billion screens, including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV 4K, Apple Vision Pro, Mac, popular smart TVs from Samsung, LG, Sony, VIZIO, TCL and others, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation and Xbox gaming consoles, and at the Apple site.

Ted Lasso Season 4 (TV-MA Comedy Series)

Starring and executive-produced by Emmy Award winner Jason Sudeikis, “Ted Lasso” season four will make its global debut on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, with one episode, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through October 7.

Season four marks the return of fan favorites, including Emmy Award winner Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Emmy Award winner Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift, alongside new additions Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.

In season four, Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second-division women’s football team. Throughout the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.

“Ted Lasso” season four adds Emmy Award winner Jack Burditt as executive producer under a new overall deal with Apple TV. Sudeikis stars and executive produces alongside Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel. Goldstein serves as writer and executive producer alongside Leann Bowen.

Sarah Walker and Phoebe Walsh will serve as writers and producers for season four, and Sasha Garron co-produces. Julia Lindon will write for season four, and Dylan Marron will serve as story editor.

Bill Lawrence executive produces via his Doozer Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television, a division of NBCUniversal Content. Doozer’s Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer also serve as executive producers. The series was developed by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Kelly, and Hunt, and is based on the preexisting format and characters from NBC Sports.

Women in Blue (Las Azules) Season 2 (TV-MA Drama Series)

The Spanish-language crime drama “Women in Blue” (“Las Azules”) was created by International Emmy Award-winning showrunner and director Fernando Rovzar (“Monarca”) and Pablo Aramendi (“Tijuana”). Season two will make its global debut on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, on Apple TV, followed by one episode weekly through September 30.

“Women in Blue” (“Las Azules”) season two will follow María (Bárbara Mori), now promoted to lieutenant, as she finds herself torn between the rules she’s sworn to uphold and a relentless pull toward the truth when the body of a student activist is discovered, and the Azules are pulled into an investigation that reaches back to the student massacre of 1968.

Before they can make sense of what they’ve found, the body of a person connected to that brutal chapter of history is unearthed, sending shock waves through the department. Someone is delivering justice straight to the police’s door, and the Azules are the department’s last hope of stopping the killer.

“The Dynasty: UConn Huskies” chronicles the 40-year run of the renowned University of Connecticut (UConn) women’s basketball program under Hall of Fame head coach Geno Auriemma.

Directed and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Matthew Hamachek and Emmy Award nominee Erica Sashin, the highly anticipated three-part docuseries from Skydance Sports premieres globally on Apple TV on Friday, August 21, 2026.

Season five of the beloved, award-winning animated kids and family series “Stillwater” premieres with five episodes on Friday, August 21, 2026. Based on the bestselling Scholastic “Zen” book series by Jon J Muth, “Stillwater” follows a wise panda who teaches three young siblings about the world and each other.

The series centers on siblings Karl (Judah Mackey), Addy (Eva Ariel Binder), and Michael (Tucker Chandler), who encounter everyday challenges—big and small—that sometimes feel insurmountable. Fortunately for these three, they have Stillwater (James Sie), a wise panda, as their next-door neighbor.

Dark Matter Season 2 (TV-MA Sci-Fi Series)

Based on the blockbuster book by New York Times bestselling author Blake Crouch, acclaimed sci-fi series “Dark Matter” features an ensemble cast led by Golden Globe nominee Joel Edgerton alongside Academy Award winner Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi, Oakes Fegley, and Amanda Brugel.

The 10-episode second season will premiere on Apple TV with the first episode on Friday, August 28, followed by one new episode every Friday through October 30, 2026.
