Aaron Rodgers appears to have spent his offseason focusing on family. The NFL star recently reunited with his parents and older brother after being estranged from them for nearly ten years.

On Monday, July 20, Rodgers posted a series of photos on Instagram showing moments from their time together.

“Another bonding week.” Rodgers wrote in the caption.

The photos featured on Instagram (@aaronrodgers12)showed his mother, Darla, his father, Ed, his older brother, Luke, and a young girl holding his hand, his niece, Evie.

Per reports, Rodgers had a long-running family feud. This first became public in 2016. At the time, Aaron’s younger brother, Jordan, mentioned on The Bachelorette that the quarterback had cut ties with the rest of the family.

However, Rodgers has never revealed publicly about the alleged feud.

“As far as those kinds of things go, I’ve always found that it’s a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I’m just — I’m not going to speak on those things,” he told ABC’s WISN 12 News in July 2016.

While Jordan did not appear in the recent photos, he and Aaron now follow each other on Instagram, and Jordan even liked the post. Fans showed overwhelming support for the family’s reunion, with the post quickly receiving over 200,000 likes.

Meanwhile, Rodgers’ family reunion comes at a crucial time.

Aaron Rodgers adjusts to Mike McCarthy’s updated offense

Rodgers and Mike McCarthy are together again in Pittsburgh, but things feel a bit different this time. They won a Super Bowl in Green Bay, yet reuniting after years apart requires some adjustments.

McCarthy’s offense still relies on West Coast fundamentals. Rodgers, per reports from Steelers Depot said after the Steelers OTAs, it depends on precise timing, clear route depth, and strong chemistry with receivers.

However, McCarthy added modern play designs during his time in Dallas. He also brought in new play-calling terms that Rodgers is still trying to learn.

“I mean I’ve spent 13 years in it,” he said. “He’s changed some stuff when he was in Dallas with Dak [Prescott]. I’ll battle on a couple things that I’ll be stubborn about, you know, terminology-wise. But, yeah, I think part of the process is just growing.”

Adjusting to new words while keeping classic timing on track takes real effort. Both men are working through these minor hurdles during practice.

Everyone is watching closely to see if their proven bond can turn into quick success for Rodgers’ last season in the NFL.
