As the S&P 500 (SP500) rises almost 10% year-to-date, the percentage of stocks making new 52-week highs since March has continued to rise.
The benchmark index is trading above 7,500, jumping around 18% from the low of March. Meanwhile, the percentage of stocks to make a new 52-week high since March 30 has sprung to 46.1%.
Some of the companies recently trading at their highest price of the year include UnitedHealth Group (UNH), Welltower (WELL), CVS Health (CVS), Marathon Petroleum Corp. (MPC), Valero Energy (VLO), Ventas (VTR), and Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM), among others.
