Allison Transmission (ALSN) announced on Wednesday that it will supply fully automatic transmissions for about 3K EAGLE V armored vehicles under a contract between General Dynamics (GD)'s European Land Systems and the German Armed Forces. The contract includes an option for up to 2K additional vehicles, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2027. ...

Allison Transmission (ALSN) announced on Wednesday that it will supply fully automatic transmissions for about 3K EAGLE V armored vehicles under a contract between General Dynamics (GD)'s European Land Systems and the German Armed Forces.
The contract includes an option for up to 2K additional vehicles, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2027.
The order covers EAGLE V 4x4 command and control vehicles and EAGLE V 6x6 armored ambulance vehicles.
The company's 2500 Specialty Series (SP) will remain the exclusive transmission for all EAGLE vehicle variants.
The company said the latest order strengthens its position as a key supplier of transmission systems for military vehicles worldwide.
On the market side, Allison Transmission shares rose ~1.58% to ~$118 following the announcement.
