"The weirdest thing happened," Aubrey says in the TikTok video."We get to our Airbnb in San Diego. Unsettling. And we're like, random Airbnb-looking. We're looking through it, no connections to it. We're looking at this picture, and my dad is like, 'This looks like me.' And I'm like, 'Oh, dad, what?' No, this is my dad."
In the video, Aubrey points to a man standing in the water at the beach. She then shares that the young girl he's talking to in the photo is her sister, Libby. They explain that the photo itself is at least 10 years old, then point out their brother, Brady, not far from his father and sister in the photo.
"He is lit. They're literally in the Airbnb picture," Aubrey says, as Libby jumps in, saying, "We have those swimsuits. We are literally in this picture. We are on our Airbnb wall!" In the video, the two are seen laughing and looking visibly shocked as they try to figure out how they ended up in the photo on their wall.

The scenario is uncommon, and the Birrell family, at the time of writing, had not yet determined how they ended up as part of their Airbnb's wall decor. While it could be a coincidence that someone took a drone photo back in 2016, many TikTok users speculate on how rare — and strange — the whole thing is.
The comments on the now-viral video offer myriad suggestions. Some push the Birrell family to inquire about the photo, while others are as innocent as asking for a copy of their "perfect family photo."
Many of the viewers shared strange unsolved mysteries of their own, including anecdotes about meeting people in random places, finding themselves in random places, or spotting someone in an unusual location, such as photos or videos.
