It turns out that the upcoming Santa-themed Air Jordan 3 isn't the only Christmas-inspired rendition of the sneaker that will be arriving at retail this holiday season.
With the aforementioned Santa colorway now expected to be a kids-exclusive release, a second Air Jordan 3 has joined the holiday slate complete with a first look at official e-commerce images. And while the Santa pair takes a seemingly good-natured approach, the newly surfaced pair instead focuses on those who make the naughty list with a "Not Nice" makeup.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro OG Not Nice features a full colorway of Black/Challenge Red/Off Noir/Elemental Gold, which translates to a weathered black leather upper that gives the shoe a worn-in, vintage appearance, holiday-appropriate red accents and a gold-colored midsole.
The pair includes several unique details including raised, three-dimensional embroidery at the heel and tongue logos, details which are typically presented in flat stitching. Inside, custom Jumpman-branded insoles read "checked it twice," solidifying the holiday concept.
The Not Nice Air Jordan 3 Retro OG isn't the only upcoming Nike Inc. style, which references the holiday's less-desirable list. Also scheduled for a holiday launch is the Nike Kobe 6 Protro Coals, a pair that is seemingly a play on the "lump of coal" tradition.
Jordan Brand also has yet another holiday Retro release in the works. In addition to the Air Jordan 3 Santa and the Air Jordan 3, an eggnog-inspired Air Jordan 12 is set to join the lineup.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro OG Not Nice is set to be released ahead of Christmas on Nov. 21, giving fans plenty of time to check this pair off their shopping list. It's expected to retail for $215 from Nike's Snkrs app and select Jordan Brand retailers and its style code is IF4396-001.
