Liverpool has been told that Antonio Nusa would be a "great fit" by former star John Arne Riise, as the club continues to search for options to replace Mohamed Salah.
The Reds waved farewell to Salah, 34, after a nine-year stay at Anfield, with the legendary winger calling time on his career with the club in search of a new opportunity. While it remains to be seen what his next club will be, Liverpool has a huge task to find a replacement who can offer the same output and influence as the star while having the potential to be a long-term fit on the right wing.

Links continue to arise over Bradley Barcola, as well as the likes of Said El Mala, Yankuba Minteh, and Matias Fernandez-Pardo as other options.
Then there's Nusa, who impressed during the World Cup with Norway, leading to plenty of rumors surrounding his future at RB Leipzig in the coming months of the transfer window.
Liverpool has emerged as a potential destination, and for fellow countryman and former Reds star Riise, it's a move that would be a good fit as a replacement for Salah.
Speaking to BestBettingSites, he said: "He's [Nusa] exactly the kind of player that Liverpool fans would love to see.
"With how he goes one-on-one, creates openings, and provides that distinct X-factor on the wing, I think he would be a great fit."
At just 21 years old, Nusa has been a player on the cusp of a move to the Premier League in the past, almost joining Brentford before a deal fell through with a failed medical.
The winger's history with injuries, particularly when it comes to his knees, has been a concern, but one that he has fought through to continue shining on the biggest stage.
Since joining RB Leipzig, the Norwegian international has shown glimpses of his quality with ten goals and 11 assists across all competitions for the club.
There is potential there, but his greatest strength for the national team this summer came from his ability to cut in from the left flank and shoot with incredible curl from his right foot.
Should he move to the right flank, the same move isn't quite available to him in the way it was to Salah, who would cut in from the right and shoot with his left foot instead.
While there is clearly some excitement in a player like Nusa, as well as plenty of potential for him to become a key star, there may be greater concerns over how well he would fit as the direct successor to Salah, even if he does bring all the things Liverpool fans want to see.
