Michigan State basketball is currently enjoying their time at the annual summer Moneyball pro-am that the team takes part in around the Lansing area. This event gives fans an up close and personal look at the upcoming Michigan State roster as they prepare for the upcoming season.
When identifying the upcoming season, a lot of thought goes into star point guard Jeremy Fears Jr., but with the hype surrounding the Spartans leader, the hype around incoming freshman Carlos Medlock Jr. has not been as significant as it could be.
Medlock is going to be the MSU backup point guard, but he will find a way onto the court, considering he is a pure scorer, while excelling with the ball in his hands. He showed that skillset in a massive performance at Moneyball, which saw the incoming freshman drop 48 points.
