How to Get & Use Pal Implants in Palworld 1.0

If you can't get Pals with good passives in Palworlds, you can always use implants to make them stronger.

Implants let players add specific passive skills to their Pals in Palworld, making them extremely valuable. A number of Implants can be purchased from NPCs, namely the Bounty Officer in the Small Settlement and the merchant in front of the Arena. These aren't the only ways to get Implants in Palworldthough, and in this guide, we'll be exploring all of them.

Where to Get Implants in Palworld

When you first make a Pal Surgery Table, you'll find a selection of simple passive skills that you can implant onto your Pals. To get more, you can buy some from the Bounty Officer in the Small Settlement west of the Hill of Beginnings, and the Arena Merchant on Arena Island in Palworld.

The Bounty Officer sells Implants in exchange for Bounty Tokens, which you can earn by defeating human bounty targets found all over the map. Thankfully, bounty targets are marked on your map with an icon resembling a hooded figure. They're fairly easy to beat, though some might surprise you with the powerful Pals they summon during a fight.

Meanwhile, the Arena Merchant sells Implants for Battle Tickets, which you can get by winning Arena battles. These are also fairly easy to get, but it'll take a lot of time since Arena battles reward a relatively low amount of tickets per victory. The Implants you can get from these merchants include:

I recommend prioritizing Serenity and Musclehead for your first couple of purchases from these vendors. Serenity reduces the cooldowns of your Pals' attacks by 30%, while Musclehead increases Attack by 30% (at the cost of -50% Work Speed). Both of these are perfect for building combat Pals early on.

Unless otherwise specified, Implants can be used as many times as you want at a Pal Surgery Table. However, installing Implants costs Gold, and the price increases depending on the type of Implant.

Where to Get Disposable Implants in Palworld

Disposable Implants can be obtained by recycling World Tree Relics at an Ancient Relic Recycler. Toss some of the relics you find in the World Tree into a recycler, and let one of your Handiwork Pals do their thing. Higher-rarity Relics seem to drop better skills; in the image above, I managed to get a Disposable Demonic Grasp Implant from a Legendary Relic.

The good thing about recycling Relics is that you don't need any World Tree Holy Water for them. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but as of writing, this is how it works.

As their name suggests, Disposable Implants are consumed when used. Thankfully, they don't require Gold, so you won't have to worry about draining your wallet to give your Pals some of the best passives in the game.

Once you get any Implant in Palworld, head to your Pal Surgery Table and apply them from there.
