One loaf, endless possibilities.

With all the new arrivals hitting Costco each week, it’s easy for some standout bakery finds to fly under the radar. And this week, one new sourdough is worth a spot on your shopping list. The Kirkland Signature Olive & Rosemary Sourdough recently started appearing in warehouses for $8.99, offering a crisp, golden crust and bold Mediterranean-inspired flavors.

Instagram creator Laura Hallissey (@costcofindsnortheast) spotted the new find and shared it with followers on July 20:

The Kirkland Signature Olive & Rosemary Sourdough features a signature sourdough crust with a soft, chewy interior filled with Kalamata and green olives, along with fragrant rosemary. According to Hallissey, the loaf is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and “has the best flavor.” She added that she toasted it with butter and called it “perfect.”

Shoppers were eager to share their first impressions.

@costcojacque commented, “This would make such a great savory avocado toast.”

Another follower wrote, “I love rosemary, bread, and black olives, but hate green olives.” Hallissey replied, “I don’t like any olives, and this was still amazing!”

@costcostealsndeals added, “This looks so good.”

While a warm slice with butter is hard to beat, this hearty sourdough is versatile enough for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Enjoy it with eggs in the morning, use it for grilled cheese or panini sandwiches, serve it alongside pasta or soup, or add it to a snack board with your favorite cheeses, dips, and cured meats. It also makes an excellent base for crostini, bruschetta, or homemade garlic bread.

If you won’t finish the loaf right away, slice it before freezing so you can remove individual pieces as needed. Wrapped tightly in plastic wrap and stored in a freezer-safe bag, sourdough keeps well in the freezer for up to three months. Toast slices straight from frozen, or let them thaw at room temperature before serving.

As with many Costco bakery items, availability can vary by warehouse. Use item #2029050 to check availability at your local store. Whether you enjoy it toasted, piled high with sandwich fillings, or alongside dinner, this loaf offers plenty of ways to savor every slice.
