A top-tier companion with little to no beneficial perks will almost always be outclassed by a Pal with better passives, whether it's in combat, exploration, or base work. Best Combat Passive Skills in Palworld
God of Destruction offers the highest Attack boost out of all combat passives in the game, but it also comes with a hefty -50% max health penalty, making it very risky to have on your Pals. If you can work around that penalty through having high Defense or the Immortality passive, it might be worth taking over other combat passives, so use it at your own risk.
Demon God is the next best combat passive in Palworld since it gives a straight bonus to your Pal's Attack and Defense stats with no drawbacks. If you don't have a Pal with Demon God in Palworld, Musclehead is your next best choice.
Best Work Passive Skills
Demon's Hand (also called Demonic Grasp) is the work passive counterpart of God of Destruction. Pals from the World Tree have a chance to have this passive, and while it nearly doubles your Pals' Work Speed, it also makes their sanity decrease faster. You can counteract the SAN penalty by giving your Pals Heart of the Immovable King or other similar passives via a Pal Surgery Table, and you can improve SAN recovery by crafting better beds and recreation/medical buildings.
Best Mount Passive Skills
Dimensional Leap and World Tree Seabed work together perfectly for increasing the speed and efficiency of your mounts in Palworld, and they're still worth using even if you only have one or the other.
Skymarcher is great for ground mount Pals like Eikthyrdeer or Fenglope, as it increases the number of jumps they can make. Meanwhile, Eternal Engine is excellent for mounts like Jetragon, since this this Pal has a relatively low stamina pool compared to other high-tier flying mounts (mainly Xenolord).
