Kindling Pals are responsible for keeping your furnaces active in Palworld. Every Fire Pal can fill in for this role, but some are simply better at spewing fire than most. In this Palworldguide, we'll be going over our top three best Kindling Pals (one for each stage of the game) as well as some runner-ups that deserve your attention.
Incineram
Best Early Kindling Pal
Incinerams are the best Kindling Pals in Palworld for players who have just started. They're just as good as Arsoxes when it comes to Kindling level, but they also have the advantage of having opposable thumbs. Apart from working your furnaces, Incinerams can also use workbenches, transport goods, and mine ore nodes, making them very versatile when it comes to base tasks.
Normally, Incinerams are found much later into the game, but you can kickstart your Palworld playthrough by getting an Incineram early from the map location above. Look for a pair of Syndicate Thugs below the Windswept Island Watchtower, and wait for them to summon their Pals. One will summon a Leezpunk, and the other will summon an Incineram.
Honorable Mentions
Wixens are pretty good alternatives to Incinerams. Unlike the latter, larger numbers of Wixens are more accessible early in the game. Go to the Scars of War north of the Hill of Beginnings, then look for them there. You can also find a bunch of other Fire Pals here, so just take your pick.
Wixens have Kindling 3, Handiwork 3, and Transporting 2, making them good all-around helpers in your base. They won't mine any ores like Incinerams, but they're good enough for this stage of the game.
Blazamut
Best Midgame Kindling Pal
Blazamuts are good for the same reasons as Incinerams, but they lose out on Handiworkd and Transporting skills. Instead, Blazamuts have double the Kindling and Mining levels, making these guys an awesome choice for dedicated mining bases.
Blazamuts can be found on a small volcanic island to the northeast of the desert biome. You can also hatch them from Huge Scorching Eggs, though you're probably better off just capturing them manually.
Honorable Mentions
Moldrons and Blazehowls have one less level into the Kindling skill than Blazamuts, but they're much easier to catch. Moldrons in Palworld are great if you need an extra Pal working on one of your mines, while Blazamuts can man Logging Sites when they aren't busy smelting ores into ingots.
Renjishi
Best Late Game Kindling Pal
Like the ones above, Renjishis are favored for their ability to take on a variety of tasks outside of just Kindling, but what makes this Pal truly special is that it can reach Kindling 10 through Condensation, the highest level that any Pal can get in the game. The catch here is that you can only get a Renjishi in Palworldafter you reach the World Tree.
A maxed-out Renjishi is pretty much the best Kindling Pal in Palworld. It's not the only Pal in the game that can reach this level, but it's the only one that can get Kindling 10 along with a bunch of other work skills.
Honorable Mention
Jormuntide Ignis can also reach level 10 Kindling like Renjishi, but Kindling is pretty much all this Pal is good for when it comes to base tasks. Renjishis still have the benefit of their other Work Suitabilities, making them more efficient as far as base Pal slots are concerned.
However, the good thing about Jormuntide Ignis is that you can get them much earlier compared to Renjishi. Either catch one from Feybreak Island, or breed one by using a Jormuntide and Blazehowl.
