According to PC Gamer, an eBay listing shows that it was sold for $4,500; however, you can find many copies on eBay between $300 and $1,300.

Not only is this one of the best old big box PC games that collectors should seek out, but it’s also one of the rarest PC games. Escape from Mt. Drash was developed by a friend and collaborator of Ultima Creator, Richard Garriott, and was initially intended for the Ultima series. Unfortunately, there are very limited examples in existence due to limited production out of fear that sales wouldn’t do too well since it was formatted as a cassette. And now, there are a few that pop up with a major price tag, with a sealed copy reaching $9,002 back in 2017 from a collector in Washington.
