WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — An 18-year-old dirt bike driver is in critical condition after sustaining life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon in a Waterbury crash, police said.
Police said that the 18-year-old suffered “life-threatening injuries to various areas of his body” after crashing a dirt bike on the 500 block of Thomaston Avenue.
The driver of the other vehicle did not have any apparent injuries.
The area of Thomaston Avenue was shut down for several hours. The Waterbury police Crash Reconstruction Unit is leading the investigation.
