Matt Damon and Luciana Damon have been married for more than two decades
Matt Damon met the love of his life, Luciana Damon, at a Miami bar in 2003.
They married on Dec. 9, 2005, and have welcomed three daughters — Isabella, Gia and Stella — while Matt is also a stepfather to Luciana’s eldest daughter, Alexia Barroso, from a previous relationship.
“It’s the greatest thing in my life,” Matt told PEOPLE in July 2026 of his partnership with Luciana. “There’s a lot of love and respect underneath the relationship, and a lot of trust. It’s built on a very sturdy foundation. We continue to grow and evolve as people, and so that foundation’s really everything.”
The Odyssey star added that Luciana has also been his most trusted creative sounding board for much of his career.
“She reads everything I’m doing. She looks at cuts of movies. I’ve really relied on her notes for 23 years,” Matt said.
