Although it's normal to be a flawed human being, sometimes certain people forget to learn and grow as they age. So when Reddit user Vixkky asked, "What’s the biggest red flag in someone over 30?" close to 4,000 people shared their very brutal, honest opinions. Here's what they said below:
1."Can’t apologize sincerely."
2."Believing their social media presence is important. I will hold off on sharing my thoughts on influencers. For me, social media obsession means you’re too concerned with how the world sees you, and for me, that’s an obstacle I would rather not manage."
3."Anyone who has children but does not have anything to do with them."
4."A lack of curiosity."
"This is a fear of mine. I see older people and how they can't fathom anything new after their 30s. I don't want to act young, but I don't want to be stuck in the past and never adjust or learning. I had an uncle who never lost his curiosity, found everything interesting, even if he didn't like it, and I aspire to be like that."
5."Emotional immaturity: doesn't communicate, gives the silent treatment, blows up over little things, and doesn't apologize."
6."Being unwilling to challenge your own views."
"I used to have a friend like that. When we talked about being open-minded regarding challenges and taking different perspectives, he said he was 'done developing' and had no need for differing thoughts. He was in his early 30s. Haven't seen him in a decade. I wonder if he's still the same."
7."Still not liking fruits, vegetables, or water."
8."Only think about themselves, self-centred. Probably wouldn’t put the trolley back at the supermarket once they’re done with it."

9."As someone who is turning 31 this year, someone who is acting like they are 'too old, aka good' for fun and adventure, and judging others who are still having fun in life. Sure, fun is subjective, but if you want to go out to nightclubs still, live in the city, smoke weed, own a sports car, and hook up, then so be it. It's your life. As long as you aren't harming others, can hold a job except for unfair firing or layoffs, not committing crimes, or not acting like an *******, then any type of life is valid. Also, people who judge others for not being interested in marriage, kids, having a career, making $150k+ a year, or owning a house. Those judgments are petty."
10."Having 'haters.'"
11."Overt disrespect of other people's boundaries. Acting 'dominant' and attempting to impose your will on others."
12."Lack of empathy for me."
"This definitely. I think many of the people who started off with 'some' empathy in their 20s and just let it go probably never genuinely had it in the first place. It's actually stronger to stay nice as you age, firm, sure, but nice. People who think being kind is a weakness are the real weak ones."

13."No accountability. If they still blame everyone else for their life, it will drain you."
14."Unreliability, and I say that because it's my red flag that I'm trying to work on. When you're in your 30s or older, people expect you to be able to take you at your word and to be consistent with your obligations. Obviously, life is life, and emergencies can happen, but ghosting/no call-no shows/being avoidant is something that really shouldn't be happening at any age, but especially when you're in your 30s."
15.And finally, "Still doing teenage-style drama: talking behind people's backs or playing mind games. You've had enough time to learn to communicate and approach conflict better. I don't have patience for it."
