While promoting Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Zendaya has been pulling out what are perhaps her most on-the-nose method looks yet, with dresses and accessories designed like tiny webs and vintage T-shirts adorned with images of the titular superhero. But her work isn’t finished.
Yesterday, the Emmy winner stepped out for two different promotional events across the world, first in New York City, and then in Mexico City, where she showed off her varying approaches to the spidey look.
First, in New York, Zendaya posed for photos alongside her cast at the Edge at Hudson Yards, where she wore a dapper two-tone suit from the Vetements Spring/Summer 2027 ready-to-wear menswear collection.
The look consisted of a paper-white, single-breasted blazer layered over a long, oversize black dress shirt, with the jacket left hanging open to show off the base layer, as well as a matching white necktie.
Down low, the Euphoria star wore a pair of crinkly black leather boots that extended all the way up to her thighs, like pants, and she completed the fit with a pair of spiderweb-shaped pendant earrings from Jacob & Co.
The whole color scheme felt like a nod to Spider-Man’s “Symbiote Suit.”
Then, Zendaya jetted off to Mexico City for a fan event at the Aztlán Feria de Chapultepec, where she switched into an asymmetric gown from the Ashi Studio Spring/Summer 2026 couture collection.
The all-black, high neck design was composed of a shiny, skintight material that created an hourglass silhouette. However, halfway across the bodice, the fabric morphed into a intricate black lace that inched up Zendaya’s neck and down one of her long sleeves.
At each of the cuffs, long fringe draped down to the ground, like inky webs shooting out of the actor’s fingers.
The actor accessorized silver earrings shaped like spiders, and her hair was styled in a high bouffant, à la Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters on July 31. With a little under two weeks to go, you can bet that Zendaya and her stylist, Law Roach, aren’t finished spinning their web of high fashion quite yet.
