If a person visits the hyperlink above with a LinkedIn account already signed in, they can see the job opening was reposted on Tuesday before the YouTube incident occurred. This means the organization had already been searching for director candidates and had not fired their previous for the recent mistake.

On Tuesday night, news broke that Miami had accidentally scheduled a YouTube livestream to go live. In the thick of a leaguewide wait for James' team decision, the stream was titled "LeBron James Introductory Press Conference" and included a description reading, "Introductory press conference for LeBron James welcoming him back as a member of the Miami HEAT."

The Heat confirmed to ESPN that the link was, in fact, real, but only as a precaution in case their former star made his return to take his talents to South Beach. The link was quickly deleted.
