Start your engines as USA Network rolls out a new three-part docuseries NASCAR Americana. TV Insider has been the first to receive the intel on the project produced by Full Speed Entertainment, the production partnership between NASCAR Studios and award-winning Words + Pictures, and executive produced by Peyton Manning and Omaha Productions.

Premiering August 9 following the NASCAR Cup Series Iowa Corn 350, the series is set to feature the first formal sit-down interview with Hall of Famer Kurt Busch since the sudden loss of his brother Kyle. On May 21, Kyle died after a battle with pneumonia that progressed into sepsis. Each of the three episodes directed by Emmy-winner Max Gershberg explores the racing sport’s evolution into a cultural phenomenon as part of America’s 250th birthday.

Part 3 airing August 23 celebrates NASCAR’s transformation into a national institution, taking pride in patriotism and passing on traditions. The final chapter puts the spotlight on the modern times through the eyes of five-time Cup Series winner/Daytona 500 champion Tyler Reddick and three-time Cup Series winner Bubba Wallace at the 2026 Anduril 250, the first-ever race at a U.S. Naval Base.

Numerous prominent figures are featured throughout the series including four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon. Other familiar faces participating in the project are country music star and NASCAR team co-owner Darius Rucker, actor turned stock car driver Frankie Muniz, and the NFL legend Manning himself. Fans can check out two last parts after Cook Out 400 events at Richmond Raceway. The network has gone all-in on the adrenaline-filled spectacle with the Iowa Corn 350 being the first race of 10 to broadcast live as part of USA Sports coverage.

This isn’t the first original NASCAR programming to air on USA Network. In 2022, the channel aired Race for the Championship, a docuseries following elite drivers’ lives on and off the track, and the reality show Austin Dillon’s Life in the Fast Lane.
