The Universal Orlando Resort is lighting up the evening sky with a new nighttime show.
Universal Celestial Goodnight has officially made its debut at Universal Epic Universe, the newest theme park at the iconic travel destination, which opened in May 2025.
Running nightly when the park closes, Universal Celestial Goodnight transforms Celestial Park — the cosmic-themed central hub and entry area of Universal Epic Universe — into what the theme park company describes as a “breathtaking spectacle.”
It features nearly 600 synchronized light fixtures, more than 350 large fountains and seven million LED lights, as well as an energized musical score.
“Inspired by the extraordinary adventures found within the portals of Epic Universe — from the playful fun of Super Nintendo World and the soaring excitement of How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk, to the magical adventures of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic and the legendary Universal Monsters of Dark Universe —the must-see experience culminates with a jaw-dropping fireworks display that provides the perfect ending to an action-packed day at the park,” the Universal Orlando Resort said in a press release.

Later this year, the Universal Orlando Resort will continue the nighttime fun through the start of Universal Nights at Epic Universe.
Taking place on Saturday, Oct. 3, and Saturday, Oct. 17, the limited-capacity party invites theme park goers to experience Epic Universe with special nighttime access.
Guests will get to visit attractions, take part in entertainment options, enjoy character interactions and more, as well as get access to complimentary specialty snacks and beverages.
Universal Nights will run from 9:00 p.m. to midnight local time on event dates. However, guests can arrive as early as 7:00 p.m. to enjoy the park — including Universal Celestial Goodnight — before the event officially begins.
Tickets will go on sale on Aug. 13, starting at $179.99 plus tax per person.
