Ukrainian military forces destroyed a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet at an airfield in the Kursk region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The 15th Separate Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade Black Forest carried out a successful operation at the Russian Khalino airfield in the Kursk region.

“A MiG-29 fighter jet and a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system were destroyed,” the statement reads.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also emphasized that there is more to come.
