Twin sisters waited outside jail for months to threaten staff, including sending photos of an officer's home, cops say

Twin sisters in Kentucky are accused of harassing and threatening employees at a major jail for months, including sharing messages like, "I will find you, one way or another."

Kevonne Gore and Shavonne Gore, both 40, are each being held in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections, the same place where they allegedly focused their ire. They both stand charged with second-degree stalking and harassment with no physical contact, while Kevonne Gore also faces a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance.

The two defendants sat outside the local jail for long periods, watching as employees arrived and left, according to citations from the Louisville Metro Police Department reviewed by local NBC affiliate WAVE. The women allegedly recorded staff with their cellphones and sent them messages.

One of these messages was reportedly a photo of an officer's home with accompanying text reading, "I will find you, one way or another."

Authorities say that the sisters also left a black rose — which, according to WAVE, often holds a negative connotation and can even represent death — on an officer's vehicle. Furthermore, the women allegedly created a social media account bearing the nickname of an officer's daughter to send messages including, "I know what you did."

On Thursday, police said one of the sisters was across the street from the jail when she yelled an officer's name and said, "I got something for you. You better watch your back," per local Fox affiliate WDRB.

Kevonne Gore and Shavonne Gore were booked into jail that day. They pleaded not guilty at their arraignments, and their bonds were set at $10,000, WAVE reported.

They are expected back in court on July 27.
