Loomer announced her arrival in the Ukrainian capital in a video posted to her X account showing her journey by passenger train.

"I am not in Russia because I am not a propagandist," Loomer wrote in an accompanying statement.

She acknowledged that her earlier commentary regarding Ukraine and President Zelenskyy was heavily shaped by coordinated foreign influence campaigns online.

"I really did say those things about Ukraine and Zelenskyy, and I will not delete my posts because I realized: I was wrong. I was living in an echo chamber, and Russian social media outlets convinced me to believe it," she declared.

Loomer explained that she decided to travel directly to Ukraine to personally observe the situation on the ground and independently verify the political claims she had previously amplified to her followers.

"I will try to find proof of the propaganda I was fed. If I don't find it, I will tell everyone so that others can see the truth as well," the blogger emphasized.

In the first day of her visit, Loomer documented visiting a mass grave in Bucha and viewed photographic evidence of local clergy killed by Russian forces in the 2022 occupation. Additionally, she met with Ukrainian officials overseeing prisoner-of-war exchanges, who presented her with medical documentation and photos of returned Ukrainian soldiers showing visible torture marks, including swastikas carved into their foreheads by Russian captors.

"Who are the Nazis then? I have been lied to for years," Loomer posted following the briefing.

The blogger concluded her update by reiterating that her past characterizations of Ukraine and President Zelenskyy were fundamentally flawed, placing direct blame on Russian President Vladimir Putin and Moscow's foreign intelligence apparatus for running a sophisticated global disinformation network.

"I was wrong. I am obligated to correct what I said before. Russia is very good at conducting information warfare," Loomer stated.
