After testing it, I can confirm that it lives up to the brand’s hype.
The Gist:
- True Botanicals, a celebrity-loved skin care brand used by Jessica Chastain and Eva Mendes, has the best eye cream.
- The True Botanicals Pure Radiance Supreme Eye Cream is a formula that addresses tired, aging, crepey eyes.
- Shop the game-changing eye cream for $95, as well as other best sellers, like the Pure Radiance Oil and and the Pure Radiance Body Oil.
This year, I’m all about bettering my habits, not entirely changing myself. One thing that’s been on my list of must-dos is becoming more consistent with using eye cream. Yes, it might sound trivial, but at 32, I think it’s high time I use it—according to multiple experts, too—and it’s as if True Botanicals knew about my goals because earlier this year it launched an eye cream formulated to address crepey skin.
The skin care brand counts celebrities like Eva Mendes, Jessica Chastain, Laura Dern, and more as fans, plus countless beauty editors and their moms, too. I’ve been testing the eye cream for a few weeks and can say that it does, in fact, live up to the brand’s hype of offering game-changing, wrinkle-improving skin staples that are easy to use and easy on the skin (I lean sensitive, so I’m very careful about what I apply).
True Botanicals Pure Radiance Supreme Eye Cream
Aptly called the Pure Radiance Supreme Eye Cream, it’s an extension of the brand’s popular pure radiance line that includes a slew of face oils (which I swear by, BTW), a body oil, and more essentials that focus on hydration and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. And, while the brand already offered eye care products—including an eye serum and eye patches—this just-launched eye cream is certain to be a standout thanks to its good-for-your-skin formula that firms, smooths, and hydrates the delicate eye area.
Sarina Godin, Chief Product Officer of True Botanicals, shared with InStyle the inspiration behind this product. “I think customers are skeptical about eye creams because they don’t always see the results,” she said. I, too, was one of those skeptics, which is why it took me so long to hop aboard the eye cream train (which I now will never get off). Godin also noted that while the True Botanical customer wasn’t necessarily asking for an eye cream, “they were begging for solutions that addressed tired, crepey, aging eyes,” and that’s where the Supreme Eye Cream comes in.
Sticking to the brand’s commitment to using plant-powered ingredients, this one’s formulated with echinacea stem cells and 14 omega-rich botanicals to firm, brighten, and plump the delicate eye area. The benefits are propelled thanks to a patented Hydroxysome Adenosine dermal delivery system, which basically allows the anti-aging actives to penetrate deeper into skin. It only makes sense, then, that the results are also better, and in the short time I’ve used it, I’ve noticed a difference in fine lines and plumpness.
While $95 might sound steep, a little goes a long way, and the benefits combined with how you’ll feel when you see the results will far outweigh the initial dent in your wallet. Trust me, get this eye cream before it sells out. Then, shop other best sellers, below.
